Wichita Area Technical College will host a “LATE (Learn About Technical Education) Nite” event from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2. Prospective students are invited to stop in at the Main Campus, 301 S. Grove, and learn more about technical education and the jobs for which technical education can prepare them.

In an atmosphere of a fun-filled movie premiere, visitors will get information focused on the career fields of Aviation, Manufacturing, Skilled Trades and Transportation. Instructors will be on hand to explain what’s required for jobs in these industries and will demonstrate some of the skills taught.

Admissions and Financial Aid personnel will be available to help interested people apply for admission and get help with tuition, and tours of the Main Campus will be given as requested. In keeping with the movie theme, popcorn and movie candy will be served.
